ISP Issues

Don't you just hate it when your ISP goes kaput for a day.  Yesterday afternoon my internet went down.  I did all the usual things you're supposed to do to make sure it wasn't an issue I could fix.  All attempts failed and I contacted my ISP this morning.  They acted like they couldn't figure out what was wrong.  After hanging up I decided to restart my modem one last time (for the 100th time).  Of course it decided to work then.  I'm happy it works now, but have to wonder if my ISP flipped a switch behind my back.  The joys and frustrations of technology.
